In retrospect

This is in 1986, I have just finished my primary school and enrolled for Mweya Mutsvene High School, popularly known as PaRoma, back then. KuBocha.

You can imagine how I looked- a small shy boy yearning to get education and have a better future.

I do not remember, how things back then were really. However, I remember sitting under a some trees learning about Homopithecus and Homo habilis, in a history lesson.

We evolved as a team and carried on.

Being a student in the second stream ever of Mweya Mustvene High School, I left the school in 1990, after completing my O levels.

Now, it’s over 30 years since I left the school. However, this is the only institution I feel related to, despite attending over a dozen others over the years as a student and as a staff member.

My personal interest is to have us all share our stories.
